So, this woman I work with told me about a new vet in Kent, "VALUE VET".  She took her cat and loved them.

Bud (my cat) has that horrid flea allergy and one freaking flea can give him feline dermatitis.  I have to do the Frontline thing faithfully or the poor guy is a mess.

Well, I was a week late with the Frontline and he had a few hot spots and I was treating them with the cortisone but then he ran off for four damn days.  When he came home he was really in bad shape.  His neck was raw and he was losing fur etc?

I needed him to get a cortisone shot and probably antibiotics.  So, I took him to VALUE VET cause I am thinking ?I could use a break in a vet bill?

Sure?

The first thing I noticed were about 75 neon signs claiming  "NO CHECKS"

For some reason this `state`ment always bothers me.  It?s like someone standing at the door and saying ?We don?t trust you. We WANT your money but we don?t trust you.?

Well, I filled out the little form and the vet called us in after about a 15-20 minute wait.

She wanted to do blood work up and teeth cleaning (which he will get when I have a bit more $$$$ cause he is 12)With the blood work up and teeth cleaning and the cortisone and antibiotics it would have cost me an easy 350.00.

VALUE VET ??????

So, they took him in the back and he got two shots and I got the antibiotics to take home and they washed off  his neck and cleaned up the sores (which I could have done myself and have done it in the past as he has always had this allergy)

So, my final bill came to $120.00.

They charged me FOUR dollars to SET UP A CHART FOR HIM    now, 4 bucks isn?t much money but it was just the idea.  Scammers

THEN, the clincher?they charged me 20.00 to wash off his neck.    I was like WTF????????????????????????

VALUE VET MY ASS.

Anyway, he is getting better and now it?s kind of humorous but still?. Stay away from VALUE VET if they move to your neighborhood.
