I just received Home Depot gift cards as wedding gifts. I chose HD because they have what I am looking for online. What I didn't know is that you cannot use gift cards online! Here is my chat with customer service.

Me: How do I pay using a gift card online?

Phong: While I would be happy to assist you with that, I'm afraid the online system is not set up to take gift cards. You will only be able to use them in-store.

This is the customer service that HD offers? I was disconnected with no resolution or goodbye? HD made thousands off of me last year, they just lost a loyal customer. I am printing this chat and bringing it to HD with me. I will be filing complaints not only for Phong's poor customer service but also for not informing the consumer of the inability to order online products.
